Beyond Balisage is a full service catering company...
Chef Daniel calls his 27 year culinary career a restaurant “Tour”. Growing up playing music and cooking was and is a way of life. After a fun and educating few years of working fine dining cuisine, Chef Daniel decided to try his hand at motion picture television and special event catering; Flavors with Love. “That was an amazing time in L.A.!” he says. “The Mediterranean diet was super popular and I was digging in with two hands.”
Once the economic hard times began in 2009 he found himself heading east to Palm Springs.
Upon arriving, began the continuation of the restaurant “Tour” until settling in a cozy little spot by the airport; Balisage Bistro. “It wasn’t the best location but I wanted to give it a shot” he says. After a few years of hard work and acquired recognition, Chef Daniel decided to close up shop. “It was difficult” he says, “however I heard a different calling.”
Chef Daniel and Beyond Balisage are back now continuing the chef’s passionate signature Earth to Table Cuisine and Private Dinners. “Fine dining and full service catering was and is my complete food and service background” shares Chef Daniel. “I am grateful for all the years of hard work and perseverance that I put into my craft.”
We are on a new path with a new location in mind, just a few steps away from opening a new dining room for all to come and join in this wonderful evolvement.
Beyond Balisage brings the experience and travels to you, in your home or location of choice. Private events still include our 5-course organic wine dinners, cooking with Chef Daniel, menu planning for your healthy household, menu planning and cooking with special needs or dietary restrictions.
